Brook Waimarama Sanctuary
Project Overview
The Brook Waimarama sanctuary is a cornerstone environment for biodiversity development in Nelson Tasman. The Sanctuary is surrounded by a pest proof fence, enabling the organisation to rebuild native bird populations.
Improving access in and around the park is key to user experience - the public (particularly disabled users), tourists and an army of volunteers. A dam-top bridge was commissioned as an essential upgrade to the pathway network within the park.
